What drinking from pure copper does for you, how to use your glass, and how to keep it looking new.
01Health benefits
Copper is naturally antimicrobial. Research on drinking water stored in copper vessels found it reduced harmful bacteria such as E. coli.
Your body needs copper to make red blood cells, keep nerves healthy and support your immune system. Water rested in copper picks up tiny trace amounts.
In Ayurveda, water rested overnight in copper, called tamra jal, is traditionally enjoyed each morning to support digestion.
Staying hydrated supports energy, focus and skin. A glass you enjoy picking up makes the first glass of the day an easy habit.

02How to use
Room-temperature water only. Nothing added.
Or leave it overnight on your nightstand, the traditional way.
First thing in the morning, before coffee.
03Proof
More metal means thicker walls, a steadier glass and a rim that keeps its shape. Each glass holds 250 ml and stands 9 cm tall.
Steel and plated cups grab a magnet. Pure copper ignores it. Try both.

Nothing happens. Pure copper is not magnetic, so the magnet stays put. That is how you know it is real.
New and clean
Natural patina over time04Care and patina
Pure copper oxidizes. Small dark spots are normal patina, not damage, and they clean off in about a minute with things already in your kitchen.
Sprinkle salt on a cut lemon, scrub gently, rinse.
Wipe with a soft cloth or sponge, then rinse.
Rub a cut lemon over the tarnish, then rinse.
Leave a thin layer a few minutes, scrub, rinse.
Heat and harsh detergent damage the matte finish. Dry right away with a soft cloth.
