Why pure copper
Better water, every morning.
For generations, people have kept drinking water in copper. Here’s what it does for your glass of water.
Naturally fights germs
Copper is naturally antimicrobial. Studies of water stored in copper found it reduced harmful bacteria such as E. coli.
An essential mineral
Your body uses copper to make red blood cells, keep nerves healthy and support immunity. Water rested in copper picks up trace amounts.
A morning habit for digestion
In Ayurveda, water rested overnight in copper, called tamra jal, is traditionally enjoyed each morning to support digestion.
You’ll drink more water
A beautiful, heavy glass you enjoy picking up makes the first glass of the day an easy habit.

How to use
Fill it at night. Drink it in the morning.
Fill with plain water
Room-temperature water only. Nothing added.
Let it rest 3 hours
Or overnight on your nightstand, the traditional way.
Drink
First thing in the morning, before coffee.

Dark spots over time? That’s real copper.
Copper reacts with air and water and forms a natural patina. Those dark spots are proof your glass is pure copper, not plated steel. Salt and lemon brings the shine back in about a minute.
Plain water only: lemon, juice, coffee and tea react with copper, so keep those in a regular glass.

I’ve been drinking from the Purely Copper bottle daily for over a month, and I honestly feel a difference—more hydrated, less bloated, and it just feels cleaner. It’s beautifully made and completely leak-proof. I’m obsessed!
Absolutely gorgeous and authentic
This copper pitcher set adds a rustic charm to my kitchen, but more than that—it’s functional and high-quality. I love the Ayurvedic benefits. My digestion has noticeably improved, and the water tastes so much better than plastic bottles.
You can feel the purity
I’ve tried copper bottles before, but nothing compares to Purely Copper’s quality. No coating, no funny taste, and it came with lab purity certification—which gave me full confidence. It’s now a permanent part of my wellness routine.

Questions
Good to know
Is it safe to drink from copper every day?
Our glasses are food-grade, 100% pure copper and third-party lab tested by SGS. Use them for plain water at room temperature, the way copper vessels have been used for generations. If you have a health condition, check with your doctor first.
Why plain water only?
Copper reacts with acid. Lemon water, juice, coffee, tea and other acidic drinks can draw copper into the drink and mark the finish, so keep those in a regular glass.
How long should water sit in the glass?
About three hours. Many people fill it at night and drink it first thing in the morning.
What are the dark spots that show up over time?
That is patina, normal oxidation on real copper, and a sign the glass is not plated. Salt and lemon, white vinegar, a cut lemon or a little ketchup takes it off in about a minute.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
No. High heat and harsh detergent damage the matte finish. Wash by hand, rinse well and dry right away with a soft cloth.
How do I know it is pure copper?
Hold a magnet to it. Steel and plated cups pull toward a magnet, and pure copper does not. Each glass also weighs about 120–130 g, heavier than a typical 80 g market glass.
